Marek Gmerski – Experienced manager, trainer, and consultant in the areas of IT, project management, controlling, and management accounting.

He is an economist and IT specialist who also works as a project manager and auditor in the public and private sectors. He holds expert certification in TCO for Distributed Computing, PRINCE2™, and PMP certification. He has gained extensive expert experience in consulting at the intersection of IT and business. Co-author of the Value IT! method for valuing high-risk projects, and training programs on project management, IT controlling, and project controlling (portfolios, programs).

As a manager, he specializes in managing high-risk projects, especially in the area of rescuing threatened projects, organizing consortial projects with a significant number of subcontractors, and projects within capital groups. This experience was gained as a project manager on the contractor’s side (up to the role of portfolio manager managing a portfolio of high-risk projects and developing project manager staff in a large IT consulting firm) and as a project manager on behalf of the client in the telecommunications, insurance, and public administration sectors.

He has expert specialization in controlling in project, process, and service organizations, with particular emphasis on IT management in telecommunications and service organizations whose core business is based on ICT.

He has gained many years of experience as a trainer and consultant. He received the „Speaker of the Year 2006” award from the Institute for International Research (IIR). He regularly collaborates as a university lecturer with SGH, ALK, and renowned training companies. He is the author of articles and a regular contributor to the industry monthly „Controlling and Management Accounting,” and occasionally publishes in the press aimed at management staff.

Since 2006, he has often been invited as a speaker or participant in panel discussions at conferences, seminars, and meetings of industry organizations.
